After spending the first 2 decades of his career as the Artistic Director of CHEL salonspa, an AVEDA Concept Salon which is owned by himself and his life's partner, Dianne - Kim has stretched out creatively and opened Studio CHEL. He now spends his time divided between the two businesses deeply immersed in both of his passions, specializing in Fashion / Personal Fashion Photography with his strong background in beauty.
Surrounded by beauty for so much of his life, Kimball V's photography provides the opportunity for him to show individuals what he see's. The beauty of it all... the chance to have a person look at themselves through his eyes, to see the beauty that others see in them. Inheriting my first 35 and 120 film cameras as a teenager growing up in Toronto began photographing architecture and street photography. In the early 80’s moving to the Maritimes
dove into the landscape and wildlife side of photography. Late 80’s making the move to Saskatoon
for the position at the university also provided the opportunity to expand into a wide variety of
photography as well as shooting many major events and in Saskatoon and the Province.
